How the Recovery Camp helped a family from Sumy region feel true unity and care
September 2025
The Steshenko family-style orphanage from Sumy region recently returned from the "Recovery Camp" organized by the charitable foundation "Sincere Heart". The family came back with incredibly bright impressions; the children returned home with renewed energy, positivity and a true sense of togetherness.

When we set off, we didn't imagine it would be more than an ordinary children's camp. We thought the children would simply play and rest, but in reality it was a special space filled with support, warmth and genuine care. Every day was packed with activities, contests and new experiences, and I saw my children enjoying every moment.

A spirit of togetherness

The children quickly adapted to the camp atmosphere. According to the mother, what impressed her most was the sense of unity among the children:

They laughed, made friends, competed and created together. For me, the most important thing was seeing that they were not only having fun but also becoming friendlier and more attentive to one another. On the last evening tears appeared in their eyes — a sign of how happy they were and how reluctant they were to say goodbye to this wonderful rest.

Gratitude to the organizing team

The family also expressed thanks to the organizing team:

We sincerely thank the entire team for their attention to each child, for moments of support, sincerity and care. You gave us time without sad thoughts — only joy, light and hope. You do an incredible job, bringing happiness to children and making the world better.
