A space for recovery
The camp became a true space for recovery. First and foremost were psychological sessions that helped both mother and child let go of some fears, find inner balance and feel supported.
Shared mother-daughter time — games, art therapy sessions, conversations and participation in activities — also mattered greatly. Here Irina and Katya were able to feel like one team. Practices for restoring the body — yoga and somatic therapy — played a special role, bringing lightness, relaxation and calm. For Irina, it felt like a breath of fresh air after months of exhaustion.
