Yuliya and her daughter Margarita arrived at Recovery Camp wanting a few days to rest — free from daily worries, anxiety and fatigue.
I came with the hope of rest and new acquaintances. I wanted my daughter to feel more joy and carefreeness.
Life before the program was very difficult. That is why the invitation to the camp became their chance for a new experience and an inner reset.
We often felt tired and lacked support. It was hard for my daughter to make friends and open up to others.
Yuliya says that the strongest feeling was unity and trust. Particularly moving and creative were the shared games and activities with the children, pilates for moms and conversations with psychologists that helped to view emotions differently.
Here everyone shares warmth and support. The atmosphere is such that you are understood even in silence.
For Margarita, the turning point was when she first stepped onto the stage during the talent show. For her mother, it was the sincere communication with other women, where everyone could just be themselves.
When my child stood under the spotlight and proudly looked at the audience — I realized that this was her step towards confidence.
Yuliya notices that their conversations now contain more sincerity, and their evenings — more shared laughter.
I became calmer and more confident in my abilities. My daughter opened up, she now smiles more and easily finds friends.
Back home, the mother and daughter continue to practice the exercises and games from the camp.
We are learning to understand each other better and keep the tradition of spending time together — without phones and hurry.
Don't hesitate! This is an immense resource for you and your child. Here you will feel that you are not alone — there are always people nearby who can understand, support and inspire.
