Recovery Camp — an experience that changes mothers and children. When Inna Rishetnyak arrived at the Recovery Camp with her eight-year-old son Hlib, she dreamed of one thing: to rest a little from the daily tension, feel light, and give her son a new atmosphere — safe, warm, and inspiring.

The Beginning of Change

For a long time, Hlib avoided communicating with children and adults, was wary of any new contacts, and every interaction required a lot of effort from his mother. But from the first minutes in the camp, Inna felt an incredible atmosphere of support and acceptance. The team met them with warmth, sincere smiles, and energy that literally heals.

“You can be yourself here,” the mother recalls.

The Camp Shop

One of the most important moments was an incident in the camp shop. Hlib couldn't buy the coveted item — he didn't have any "smileys," the local currency that children receive for participation and initiative. The very next day, the boy was in the front rows of all activities, open, interested, and motivated.

The only purchase, made through effort and his own achievements, became his first great victory.

Inner Resources

For the mother — tears of joy and the realization of how many resources are hidden in her child. Inna also brought back an important personal experience from the camp: skills to be in the moment, to listen to her emotions, and to allow herself rest and recovery. She returned home feeling replenished, calm, and more confident.

“This is a chance to see your child from a new perspective, feel supported, and find strengths you didn't even suspect existed. Recovery Camp gives faith — in yourself, in your child, and in the future.”
