Before the camp, we dreamed of a change of scenery, new friends, and a chance for the children to get even a little break from the constant tension, frequent alarms, loud explosions, fear and uncertainty that have become part of our lives. At "Recovery Camp" we felt that a true home is made of love, care and support. The children loved the interaction — there was plenty of it and it was warm. As a mother, I watched with special tenderness the sparkle in the children’s eyes — those smiles warmed my heart.
The children enjoyed everything — from the social interactions to the living conditions.
I would especially like to mention the tasty and varied food — the children were always well-fed and content. The rooms are cozy and comfortable; it was easy to rest and feel safe there. We want to give special thanks to the activity facilitators — remarkable people who made the children happy. Their attention, sincerity and love left a mark on the children’s hearts, and these impressions the children will never forget.
The camp became a real impetus for the family — it opened new opportunities for both the children and their mother.
This camp gave us a real boost. Some children became even more passionate about singing and drawing; others brought home new games that we now play together. As a mother, I was able to rest emotionally: the jacuzzi, conversations with like-minded people, and consultations with psychologists gave me strength and a new breath of life — a belief that we can move forward despite everything.
In addition, the camp helped the children become closer to one another and strengthened their family bonds.
My children became even more caring toward one another; they came together like a true team. Although they are different ages, they now look after not only themselves but also me. We plan to change the "rules of the game" at home as well — to devote even more time to shared games and heartfelt conversations. I realized how important it is for each child to feel that we love them unconditionally, regardless of their actions. That they know: we are always near, ready to listen and support them in any matter.
The mother emphasizes that camps like these are extremely necessary:
Such camps are extremely needed — for both children and mothers. Professionals work here who can advise, support and teach better communication without judgment. It is also a chance for a mother to get a break from pots, cleaning and endless routine. We sincerely thank everyone who created this beautiful and fulfilling rest for us! We very much dream of returning to this atmosphere of ease, friendship and warmth.
The "Recovery Camp" became for the family not just a vacation but a true breath of fresh air and hope for the future, strengthening love, care and mutual understanding within the family.
